Cactus Birthday Party!

My daughter loved cacti, so for one of her birthdays we did a cactus party! Funny, I know, but we took all the traditional games and just adjusted them.  It turned out to be very fun! 

This was a "cactus" toss game.  We used green balloons to be our cacti.  The usual fun!

 So here is the traditional, pin the face on the cactus! Ha!  The kids really enjoyed watching the cactus face end up in funny spots! 

Here is a maraca toss.  They had to throw it in the sombrero.  The kids loved it!

This game was definately everyones favourite!   The kids got to dance to fun Latin style music until the music stopped, then they had to strike a crazy cactus pose!  They got so silly and had sooooo much fun!

 Decorations were super simple!
We got a fun balloon that reflected the "fiesta" style party.  Then we cut out cacti shapes and balloon shapes out of bright coloured paper!  They were easy to make and easy to clean up....and super cheap!
