"Totoro" Cake

Here is a custom "Totoro" cake I 
made for my daughter's birthday!

Totoro is a Japanese animated character that is adorable.  He usually is not pink, however because we liked pink, he became pink for the party!  Due to a friend's allergy, we made the cake out of rice crispies, instead of cake, and covered it in butter cream frosting.  The surrounding gift bags were made from cake.  Rice crispies are so fun to use cause you can shape them into any kind of sculpture you want. The cake was a hit, everybody loved him!
