This had to be one of the funnest cakes to see come together. It was a simple sheet cake, frosted in green frosting.
We made a banana tree for the monkey, a mud puddle for the pig, a piece of cheese for the mouse, a pond for the dragon fly and a carrot garden for the rabbit.
The bananas are 'Runts" candy bananas. The base of the tree is probably a cupcake. I don't remember. The mud is chocolate frosting.
The water in the pond is blue frosting, surrounded by candy rocks. The carrot patch is chocolate frosting for the dirt. Then we made carrots out of "air head" taffies. Poke them in the ground so they look like they are growing under ground. The mouse is on a cream coloured piece of cake.
