My son wanted a "Toy Story" birthday, so we delivered! Ha! We made a Mr. Potatoe Head cake! It was funny! His shoes are made out of rice crispy treats, covered in blue icing. The rest is cake. We used the dome and a small round to make the oval body. The eyes, noes and ears are jumbo marshmallows. The kids all LOVED him! He tasted good too!
We played pin the tail on "Bullseye", Woody's horse. The kids coloured the poster....as you can see it didn't even get finished, but they didn't care.
We went on a scavenger hunt of clues that led us to the party favors. The green army men led the way...
Here's a clue left by the army men. The kids really liked this game....
Also the party guests really got into the theme...some wore toy story clothes. CUTE!
My favorite game was a relay to see who could assemble the potatoe heads the quickest. They had to follow a certain design...so they had to look at the picture of the potatoe head and then dig through the box to find all the pieces, and build it, then disassemble it and then run back to home base for the next team player to take a turn.....
crazy and fun!!!
We also played a bunch of outdoor relay water games. Fun Party!
