Poke'Mon Cupcakes!

First of all we got a cupcake stand from Hobby Lobby.  It was about 5 dollars, but when you cover it with foil, it can be used over and over.  We used washable markers to colour it to look like poke balls.
We made cupcake holders out of cheap construction paper from the dollar store.  Used a paper punch circle for the eyes and cheeks.  Used a white gel pen to make the white in the eyes.  Very easy to make.  Let me know if you need a simple cupcake holder template.  We just made these up as we went.  Here are the different styles we chose.  We picked poke mon that were fairly easy designs to make. We made one for each party guest, so there were no duplicates.  I have a hard time doing the same thing twice.

We frosted each cupcake with colours that would match the cupcake holder, then placed them on the poke mon stand.  We had bought an XL poke mon card as a gift for my son, so we placed that on top of the stand.  He was surprised and thrilled.  It looked cool!
