Kid's Bedrooms....The ideas are endless!
Painting in kid's rooms is so fun and easy and CHEAP! It doesn't have to be perfect, by any means...just colorful. We bought some simple acrylic paint at "JoAnns". About 59 cents per bottle. The paint actually wipes off of you don't like it, so it's NOT permanent. I let my kids help,
cause then they appreciate it more
and it get's done faster! ;)
The BEST tip I can give you is to use "glow in the dark" acrylic paint at the end of your painting project.
It costs about 3.00 for a bottle that lasts forever! You can buy it at JoAnns or Micheals or Hobby Lobby. We painted Rapunzel's hair after she was dry, and the effect is sooo cool! When the lights go off at night her hair GLOWS! We also painted stars on the ceiling and down the walls. The GLOW paint is clear by day, you can't even see it! But at night, WOW! The kids LOVE it! We painted our sun with it, so at night it became the moon! TOO COOL!
Whoever invented the stuff, thank you!
As you can tell it doesnt have to be professional to be cool! Use water with the paint to get the cool wood grain look! Tack a stuffed bird or owl in the tree for a fun look! You can also tack on fabric flowers to the grass to add fun texture!
